Fromagerie P’tit Plaisir in Weedon sells about ten different kinds of cheese, not to mention butter, ice cream and gelato. It’s all made with milk from the family dairy farm. You won’t find any modified milk ingredients in the products sold at this locally owned business! Be sure to try the cheese curds (named best in Quebec at the Sélection Caseus competition) and the La Fleur de Weedon (named best semi-firm cheese at the Canadian Cheese Grand Prix).
Small producers can now sell eggs directly to the consumer! When you stop by your local egg farmer, you might just cross paths with some free-range hens out for a scratch and a peck.
